Wheel chair for a 17 year old girl

I am trying to raise R20 000 for a coworker of mines daughter. Her 17 year old daughter (Thenjiwe) slipped at a pool last year and is now quadriplegic. My coworker who is a housekeeper is the only source of income in her household, she supports both her children and her mother. I would like to buy her daughter a Electric wheel chair so she can try live her life in some sort of comfort. Currently she is using a government issued chair which is very heavy, uncomfortable and difficult to manoeuvre, more importantly she can not use her arms so can not move the chair around by herself. She spends majority of her day in this chair so having the freedom to move where she would like to move and the added bonus of a comfortable chair will make all the difference in her life. She is still so young and i feel that this chair could give her the motivation and options she needs to further her life. She would like to start studying next year to become a teacher which i think is amazing considering what she has had to deal with mentally over the last year. I am currently looking at a second hand wheel chair which is currently in for a full service to replace all the wear and tear items as well as the batteries. This chair will allow her to move more freely around the house and will improve her quality of life greatly. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
