Trying to be a vet

Hey there!

I'm Belle, and I'm currently studying in NTU as a student in Biological Sciences. I'll be graduating in 2019, and am hoping to get into vet school after that. Unfortunately, vet courses overseas are expensive, averaging about 70K per semester (and expected to be higher with every passing year), and my family simply doesn't have that kind of money to put me through 5-6 years of vet school.

I'm really passionate about animals, and I can't imagine a career that doesn't involve saving their lives or improving their quality of life. I want to be able to help not just the animals themselves, but also the animal lovers, the pet parents, and society as a whole. I can't do it without financial aid. There is only so much that passion and drive can do, and I don't want money to become the limiting factor to the goals we strive for. I don't want to say that I didn't chase my dreams because I didn't have the money to do it.
