Hi my name is Kerry wilkinson I'm a mother of 6 children I've been supporting a homeless man I met in Preston city centre about 3 months ago.. I've bought him a new sleeping bag ..a flask ..a back pack to store the little his has..l gave him gloves to try n keep warm from these very cold nights ... I take him food late at night and fresh water... When I first met him he was sat on his sleeping bag watching the world go by... I coukd not walk pass and leave him so I sat with him & found out abit about him.. He is called Toni he is from Carlisle he came here from a failed marriage.. he lost everything he had.. He had been sleeping rough for two years... He ain't a drug or alcohol dependent... He can't claim benefits because he had no address and he can't look for work being homeless there's  no available shelters.. He has no family here he is lonely.. It makes me sad I go home to my family I can close the door on the world I have a warm house hot food and a bed to sleep in and I have hot water..l tony has nothing .If I have e money I would get him a place to live just so he can find his feet & look for work knowing he has some where he can call home .. Please can you help thank you for your support... This will help towards his deposit & his first months rent until he can sort is money out & what ever is left it will help to get him stuff he needs for his flat & food ... Thank you this means everything to tony .. I hope one day the government helps end homelessness we never know one day this could be us that s homeless thankyou
