Campaign Story
Bedlington Town Tigers are an under 9 football team that are progressing to 7 a side matches next season. We've previously only played 5 a side games and our progression will enable us to take on 2 or 3 more players but this also means we'll need more and new strips as our current ones are no longer available.
In an attempt to raise funds for this the teams two coaches, Alan Fish (Head) and Mark Munley (Assistant) are undertaking a 94 mile bike ride on 20th June 2015. To give this a bit of context this will be the furthest single distance that either of us have ridden so it will certainly present a good challenge.
We are therefore asking for any help that people can provide to help us reach this target so that we can not only provide new strips for our current set of players but also allow us to give 2 or 3 more kids the chance to play football at this level next season and beyond.
We are by no means an "elite" or well off team but we encourage our players to play with respect, a smile on their faces and to play the game in the right way. Any help we can get in achieving our target will be gratefully received and would mean the world to our team going forward. Thanks.
