This is What Strength & Beauty Looks Like

Phyllis Guerra was a dancer. Phyllis Guerra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to eleven children. Phyllis Guerra was also a fighter. And she always fought and loved and danced with a smile on her face.

In the last 15 years, Phyllis  endured an M.S. diagnosis, three heart procedures, and two battles with cancer. She bravely faced her third cancer fight last September, and with the generous help of all of you on this site (see it here: This is What Fighting Looks Like), we were able to give her a photo session w/two local photographers before her treatments began. Phyllis' beauty -- both inside and out -- came through in that session, and those photos became a treasured gift for her husband Sergio, and for her family as Phyllis fought her final battle these last few months. THANK YOU for that precious gift.

Now we are preparing to celebrate Phyllis' beauty once again -- her life, her loves, her friendships, her struggles and her triumphs. Her memorial service and celebration will be held on September 7th, and we would like to make sure that this financial commitment does not become a burden to Sergio, or to Phyllis' immediate family.
