Campaign Story
Andreas Doncic passed away on April 21, 2018 at the age of 40 years. He is pictured here with his wife Kei, daughter Maya (3), newborn son Alexander, and dog Summit.
He was a faculty member at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His research passion was to understand how cells make decisions. He was particularly interested in applying this knowledge to cancer to understand how uncontrolled proliferation occurs.
In addition to science, he had deep and wide interests in history, language, and travel. Andreas was swift of mind and outspoken, which made him the life of every party. An avid believer that good people should populate the world, his greatest joys were his children. He is survived by his wife Kei (née Noguchi), daughter Maya, son Alexander, mother Anita, father Obrad, and brother Martin and family.
