Sport2Life Croatia

Hello Everyone,

Mike Saran here…I am the founder of Sport2Life, a sports foundation for kids. Our mission is to promote, support and make sports accessible to all elementary school children.

We are witnessing alarming data on the tremendous increase of time that children spend on mobile and digital devices indoors. This has a terrible impact on their physical and intellectual development and is further exacerbated by Covid-19. As a result, the number of inactive and overweight children keeps increasing. We must act immediately to turn things around.

My intention behind establishing Sport2Life is to organize sports programs and activities that will help us promote healthy habits and physical literacy in children. I believe that through education, regular training and good nutrition, we can make an impact on our children, our families and our communities to live healthier and happier lives.

Since I established S2L in 2018, more than 15 000 kids have taken part in at least one of our programs and events in Croatia, Czech Republic and Turkey.

From its establishment until now, I have been funding Sport2Life. It is, however, time to expand our program and our reach. I would like to use this opportunity to invite all to become part of Sport2Life today. The annual cost of our program is 150 EUR per child. You can make a difference by becoming an official sponsor of Sport2Life Foundation or by making a donation as an individual.

All the funds raised will be dedicated to the growth of Sport2Life programs in Croatia, one child at a time. In 2021 – 2022 school year, we have made sports and healthy nutrition available to 150 kids. Our aim is to at least double the number of kids engaged in our activities in 2022 -2023.
