Campaign Story
I am a 15 year old student at St Wilfrid's High School, Featherstone, and I am fundraising to go on the expedition of a lifetime to South Africa with Operation Wallacea in Summer 2014.
During the first week, I will be staying within the Kruger Park, conducting vital surveys on the local ecology and researching conservation in the local area. I will be focusing particularly on elephants and bird species. I feel it is important to go out there and conduct these surveys to truly learn how I can help out in wildlife conservation.
Then, for the second week, I will be travelling down to the coast near Sodwana Bay where I will be conducting further research into a marine ecology course, once again focusing on surveying the habitats and learning just what I can do to help to help.
I am aiming to raise £2700 to cover the expenses of the trip, however any amount raised and any donations received, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much!
