Meet "Eleven"
This special pup came into the Rugaz Rescue program as a medical case at first. No strength to walk or hold his head up. Completely infested with intestinal parasites to the point he needed a blood transfusion to make it through the night. Hes so malnourished you can count every bone in his body, and he was so dehydrated he continues to need fluid therapy. He is fighting for his life due to simple neglect that could have been completely avoided.
To add to his little body fighting to survive, he has diagnosed down syndrome. So far we don't know to what extent yet that will effect his daily life, but he is a waggy, kissy sweet baby through this all. He is truly a fighter, and wants to live.

He is now strong enough to stand on his own for longer periods of time, and is gaining weight steadily with his meal plans.This little boy is as dedicated to living a happy, healthy life as we are to him.
