Medical Care in Guatemala

Howdy.. The past 2 years have taken a toll on a lot of us with the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the hardest things for me personally has been my inability to help those in need. As many of you know, I transitioned from EMS to pursue my doctorate out in California. Although I am incredibly happy with my choice, I have felt helpless during the craziness of this pandemic.

This Christmas season, I want to give back to my community with the skills I've acquired both in EMS and in school. I will be heading to Antigua, Guatemala to volunteer in a clinic for 10 days, providing basic medical care to the underserved community.

I have completely paid for my trip on my own and am looking to fund raise to bring extra supplies down with me. Your donations will go to first aid kits & medical supplies that I can leave behind after my work is done. I will be fundraising over the next few months.
