Hi my name is Amanda but everyone calls me Mandy and I'm trying to start my cleaning service it's called Mandy Da Maid.

I never expected to have to ask for help again... But it seems as if every time I get one step ahead there is another obstacle to cross... There have been days that I have thought about giving up but people keep telling me I'm tough and I'm a fighter... Which helps give me the strength to go on...

Here is my story:
Nine years ago, I fell in love with Myrtle Beach. The people, culture and nature immediately drew me in! I loved the beach so much I visited 15 times and dreamed of living on the beach one day.

In 2018, like thousands along the eastern coast of the United States, Hurricane Florence destroyed my home and all my possessions. Despite my health challenges and the uncertainty that comes after a hurricane, I remained hopeful. I saw the devastation as a spark to start over in the place I've always loved: Myrtle Beach

Initially, it wasn’t easy for me to start a new life in my new home, but I have established myself in Myrtle Beach, made many friends, and my health has improved. I cannot imagine anywhere else in the world I would rather be! After 5 ½ years (3 years of which I have work at the well-known Beach Hotels), I have found my purpose and happiness in Myrtle Beach. I enjoy meeting visitors from around the world and I take pride in showing all the beauty, nature and culture my adopted home of Myrtle Beach has to offer to visitors every chance I get. I strive to give back to the local community some of what has been given to me over the past few years by helping small businesses grow and increase their income. I love to see visitors love Myrtle Beach as much as I do!

In 2019, I applied for a work permit which was approved. After that I started my residency application... I thought I was near the end but everything here in myMyrt Beach takes time... Therefore I have to do another work permit to cover me during the time my residency is being processed.

Unfortunately, once again much of my savings has been exhausted through fees and travel across the beach to submit government paperwork. Now I must come up with $25,000 for fees, supplies, transportation, necessary licenses, and bills to get this business off the ground.

Please consider donating and sharing this page. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Some are saying they are having problems with the donate link...so if you prefer you can send thru cashapp to $hearttoheart2018 Thank you for reading! One Love! ❤

Thank you
