My name is Kay-leigh
On the 25th of June I had major surgery (a laparotomy) due to an ectopic pregnancy which means an egg fertilized in my Left Fallopian tube and that had to be removed immediately. An ectopic pregnancy can be fatal without prompt treatment. For example, the fallopian tube can burst, causing internal abdominal bleeding, shock, and serious blood loss which can be fatal.
My policy unfortunately did not cover my surgery and my advisor is trying to get me a discount to lower our hospital bills.
At the moment the whole surgery cost R36 573.20.
I’m am hoping they can reduce this amount but in the meantime my boyfriends mom was extremely kind enough to take out the loan to help me pay for this and is now sitting in a huge amount of debt that I am struggling to pay off as I feel it’s only fair to pay her back.
With my sister losing her job not being able to help me and having no more savings left I reach out to anyone who has it in their heart to contribute any amount they have to spare to help me.
Every single cent counts whether you think your R5 doesn’t matter or not ❤️
