Iran Solidarity Campaign

Dear Friends and Comrades!

People in Iran are struggling for rights of women, workers, students, ethnic minorities, and other repressed communities, while the Islamic Republic has started to massacre people in different cities of Iran.
While the fake oppositions (Monarchists, right wing liberals and warmongers) are trying to hijack Iran's revolution for their own benefit, it is the time for us to support the revolution of "Woman, Life, Freedom" by raising their voice in Western countries and building "Solidarity Organizing Committees" to help revolutionaries inside Iran.

Since Iran and Turkey are simultaneously attacking Kurdish cities in Iran, Iraq and Syria, it is the time to mobilize antiwar activists to prevent another war in the middle east.

Red Roots Collective (a group of Iranian socialist activists), in collaboration with Manchester Trade Union Council and other activists are trying to build a "solidarity organizing committee" to support Iran's revolution in a long-term perspective. Our aim is to organize not only symbolic acts of solidarity (e.g., passing motions, writing statements, press release, public discussion, rally, etc) but also concrete acts of solidarity (e.g., civil disobedience, hunger strike, political/solidarity strike, etc.)

However, in our immediate situation, as initial steps to set up our logistics (e.g., PA system, printing banners and leaflets, activating our social media pages, etc.) we need support of our friends and comrades. This is a practice of international solidarity for all of us. Let's bring internationalism back to our everyday politics and social movements!
