Inventor/Cancer Survivor: Final Chance to Fulfill the Dream

My name is NeddaJoy, but many address me as NJ. I’m a bit nervous, but more predominantly so grateful for this site! I will try to tell a long story expediently.

I am a cancer survivor whose survival involved multiple surgeries. While hospitalized 4 post surgical drains remained down into each surgery site. These are absolutely pertinent to recovery, but unbelievably uncomfortable, and can be painful and perilous. They are generally dangling or safety pinned to the patient’s gown. While laying in bed two solutions came to me! (the lightbulb ). I invented a hospital gown and waterproof belt to hold the post surgical drains securely. And could actually be used at home should the patient have to leave with any remaining drains.

The designing and patenting process has taken years. I am now pursuing retirement (though I will continue parts of my work. I’m currently attaining a safe car, and preparing for a financial shift with these changes.

I have financed every penny to bring this dream to fruition. There are Government fees, attorney fees, supplies, time, studies, etc. involved..years of these requirements. I am now on my FINAL MAINTENANCE FEE to complete my patent ownership for the next five years, giving me a final opportunity to sell the intellectual properties to folks who develop medical inventions.

Thanks to so many of you I have maintained ownership of my patent!! Now, THE FOCUS IS provisions to SELL THESE WONDERFUL POST SURGICAL AIDS.
