Campaign Story
I'm sure you are all now aware of Ange and Tom's devastating news. We are hoping to reach out for your love, help and if possible, financial support.
Ange received heartbreaking news after a routine check-up at Salisbury Maternity Unit. She was discovered to have a Stage 2 Brain Tumour. In the last couple of weeks this has progressed to Stage 4 - and unless operated on would put her life in serious and immediate risk. Ella will be born at just 30 weeks on Wednesday 13th September and Ange will then be rushed into surgery where they will attempt to remove as much of the tumour as possible. As the tumour is located in the part of the brain that effects memory, the operation carries some serious risk that short, and long term memory will be damaged.
Even if the operation goes as well as it can be hoped, it is likely that Ange, Tom and Ella will have a limited time to spend with each other as a family. Ange is being being incredibly strong and courageous during this time but as you can imagine this is a truly impossible situation for them both.
The most important thing is that Ange, Tom and Ella have as much quality time together, and money should be the last thing that they're worrying about. We're asking friends, family and even strangers to help as much as they can. Anything is welcome, and everything raised will go directly to Ange and Tom.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for all of your love and support, I will keep you up to date..
<3 Update 14th September,
At 9.12am on Wednesday 13th September, We welcomed into the world beautiful, healthy baby Ella, breathing for herself as soon as she came out, weighing a small
but mighty 3lbs 6ozs. Ange
came out
of surgery a few hours later, Incredibly sat up right and talking and
behaving like Ange of old. There will be another MRI to see what was removed, what's
left and what sort of treatment she'll need next. All in all, it was
a
very good day. N
ot out of the woods yet but the despair has taken
a back seat for now and been replaced with something a whole lot more
joyful! Thank you all for the tons of love and support
received, They are so grateful and it absolutely played a part in keeping them from
breaking down. They
can't wait to introduce you all to baby Ella. <3 xxx

Hi there, So I am Angela’s sister, Jen . I know some but not all of you and cannot believe how generous you have been. The love and support is overwhelming and I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for thinking of my sis, baby Ella and Tom. It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride lately that is for sure but how I feel is nothing compared to what these 3 have gone/are going through. Tom has been by Angie’s side every step of the way. I am also very happy to report that Baby Ella is getting stronger and is now breathing on her own โค. She is still tiny and beautifully perfect. We are not sure who she looks like just yet ๐. Ange has had better days than others and whilst resting up post brain surgery she has got to spend some quality time just being a Mum sitting with Ella in nicu. So 25 days after surgery the next part of the journey starts...radio and chemo daily for 6 or so weeks. Good luck the Ange ๐
