Help Us With A New Beginning…

My name is Michelle.

I'm a 49 year old woman in Northern Ontario.  Due to ongoing cancer, and other health issues, I've been unable to work for many years.  As a result, I have no income, savings or credit.

Seven years ago, I met the most wonderful man.  He had a financial mess too, as the result of a previous relationship.  We've muddled through and fixed a lot, but have been unable to have a home of our own.  Our dream is to have a very modest rural home here in the north that would be not only a sanctuary for us, but for others on a limited basis to retreat and meditate.  I teach meditation when I'm able, that's specific to stress and chronic pain at no charge.  We believe that this is something to be shared, not paid for.

What we're looking for is help with a downpayment on a very modest mortgage, as we can't afford a big one, for a home in the woods that's big enough to accomodate us with a room to spare for the occasional retreatant in a secluded spot that would facilitate healing.  Please help us to realize this dream, and in so doing, help others as well.
