An unfortunate part of farming is unforeseen circumstances. Quaking Aspen Farms is in the developing stages, and is currently being supplemented by off-farm income. That income was suddenly cut over Christmas, and we want to be sure we can keep our animals not just alive over winter, but comfortable and happy.
Because of the sudden loss in income, fencing and housing for our two expecting ewes and three sows aren't going to be able to be built without some help. We are not a gimicky farm. We want to be able to stick this through. We made a commitment to our animals ans to our community as a food provider, and we aren't going to let a little snafu stop us.
So please help us help our animals survive the winter! Thank you.
