Help the abandoned animals in Hong Kong

Hello everyone,my name is Simon,the problem of dogs and cats being abandoned in Hong Kong is very serious and is worsening.Due to the relatively high cost of feeding and a lack of space ,lots of dog owners decided to simply abandon their loyal friends，where the abandoned problem of mixed-breeded dogs is the most serious.

As a dog lover and a local university undergraduate,I myself have been devoted in changing this unacceptable situation by setting up a volunterer animal care centre for abandoned dogs and cats.I believe anyone of you who have ever got along with dogs understand that they treat humans as their trustable and beloved friends.Therefore I think I am responsible to help improve their situation in return.

The proposal includes setting up a 24-7 care centre providing accomodation for local abandoned animals and suitable treatments for animals with illnesses by regularly hiring vets to help cure some of the common problems of dogs and cats such as rabies and sterilisation surgery.

That’s why I am pledging support from all of you .The rents in Hong Kong is relatively high and I have already found a suitable venue in the New Territories in Hong Kong which is a 3-storey village house with a spacious garden ,allowing the animals to move around freely.The cost of the rental is $50000HKD(8000 USD )per month and the cost of purchasing necessary equipment is estimated to be another $100000 HKD(15000 USD).We also have to preserve another $200000 HKD (27000 USD) as operation cost like hiring vets on a regular basis to provide health support for the animals.However,we are in a quite urgent situation because the house owner only offer a leasing deadline before May 1 ,otherwise he will lease the house for other purposes.i sincerely hope you may kindly offer your helping hands in enhancing the quality of life of abandoned animals in Hong Kong
