Campaign Story
Hi Everyone
I am mom to a beautiful woman, mother and wife Shaista Gafoor who is 34 years old. She has 3 beautiful children who need their mom to be healthy and happy.
Shaista has recently been diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnoea. This causes breathing obstruction whilst she sleeps, she stops breathing at least 38 times in an hour and her oxygen saturation is at 81%. This has caused severe side effects and can be life threatening.
She urgently needs a CPAP machine which will give her oxygen whilst she sleeps. The machine costs R14,000. Medical Aid will not pay. To use the Gap cover she would need to pay R33,000 first.
Shaista is always helping everyone else and I am doing this so she can be helped. With the pandemic and the last couple of months financially everything has been impacted. Doctors report is attached.
