Help Mariana’s husband to walk again

Mariana is my colleague, she's my direct report from Bulgaria. But she's much more than that, she's a mother of two, she's a wife, and she's a friend.
A few months ago, her husband had a work incident, he fell and heavily injured his back. For some time, he was paralyzed without any mobility in his legs. Luckily, the back was not broken but badly injured, and in the following months, with rehabilitation, he was able to move his legs and stand again. He is getting some home treatments once a week, but it doesn't seem to be enough for a successful recovery.
Now, he is able to stand on his feet and slowly walk around the apartment. Nevertheless, his current state prevents him from climbing the stairs. He is unable to get out of their home, to receive better health treatment, to go out and see his kids play, to go out and catch the sun, and to be with his family and friends.
I'm starting this fundraiser to change that and to make it at least a little bit easier for them. A special Scalamobil Alber S36 Scalachair (refurbished model) is already ordered. This is the machine that will help them overcome an insurmountable obstacle - 20 stairs. Twenty stairs, for most of us just nothing, but for some a barrier that you cannot cross.
I can just imagine how hard this situation is for Mariana's family, even she never complained and talked about it. I would be so grateful if you are able to support me in this small project and to show that each one of us really matters.
