Hat Collection – 1924 Tent @ the 91st Battle of the Maroons

Hey Folks,

Thanks for taking the time to read this and having some patience to read it through the end. (When did we become so official?)

Well, we are reaching out to you in this mode of communication since you are not in Sri Lanka but we are all connected under the under the unique class batch 2007 at Ananda College. All those nostalgic school days would definitely remain in our memories lit and cherished as new as today.

So here is the story. We as 2007 batch decided to have our own tent at the 91st Battle of the Maroons on 7th and 8th of March 2020. 13 years ago we would have never thought of doing something at this magnitude but it obviously comes with great challenges and responsibilities.

ඇත්ත කතාව

We are in the process of collecting sponsorships and donations across all 2007 batch members who are in Sri Lanka and outside too. As an extended initiative of the same we have set up this payment platform to reach out to you, who are residing outside Sri Lanka to be able to donate a few bucks in memorizing our past on these two days. We will also be setting up a small screen and a special number for you to connect through whatsapp to talk to our batchmates on this day and we would be grateful if you could accept our invitation regardless of your contribution. (කීයක් හරි දෙන්න පුළුවන් නම් බොක්කෙන්ම හොඳා)

Summary of payments will be updated under the project accounts and will be accounted under sponsorship column and will be shared to you as soon as you donate as well as at the completion.
