The founding principles of Hamiltons Football Academy, SA Non Profit Company are designed to utilise the power of sport and work towards creating a safe environment where young boys and girls are forwarded the opportunity to develop essential life skills while showcasing and harnessing their sporting talent.

Our players will travel on a stimulating journey through a detailed football programme. One designed to create an environment and culture that will challenge, inspire and encourage the ambitions of aspiring young footballers.

Hamiltons Football Academy develops the players around The Four Corner Model which consist of four key components, Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychological development.This model encourages us to look at the player as a whole and ensure we are creating opportunities for them to be successful in life and football.

Our coaching, conditioning and video analysis will allow our staff to regularly provide clear and accurate feedback on all the elements associated to the players development and performance. While our education programme with the use of qualified professionals, supplements traditional classroom learning by providing a safe holistic learning experience.

Hamiltons Football Academy receives no government funding and all our activities are funded through donations, sponsorships and partnerships formed through the private sector.

Hamiltons Football Academy is an approved public benefit organisation (PBO) and has been approved for purposes of section 18A(1)(a) of the Income Tax Act and donations to the organisation will be tax deductible in the hands of the donors in terms of and subject to the limitations prescribed in Section 18A on the Income Tax Act.

Hamiltons Football Academy is Level One for BBBEE purposes (135% B-BBEE procurement recognition level), more than 75% of the beneficiaries are Black as per Amended Code Series 100 of the Amended Codes of Good Practice issued under section 9 (1) of B-BBEE Act No 53 of 2003 as Amended by Act No 46 of 2013.

Gordon Igesund was appointed the South African Senior Men's National Team Coach in 2013 and only lost two official matches during he’s tenure.He led Bafana Bafana to a famous victory against a full-strength Spanish team while they were the current World and European champions.
