The purpose of this project is to explore the lived experiences of international students who have been affected by political crises in their home country while studying abroad. Specifically, this project will explore the experiences of international students from Muslim-majority countries. As there is little research on the experiences of international students during times of crisis away from home, the current project looks to provide a foundation for better understanding the features of these unique situations by systematically analyzing the distinctive stressors and coping resources utilized by individuals in these situations.
This project is a scientific study, currently self-funded my students.
