My name is Sherryl, I am in my 50s and I am dying of Stage 4 Metastatic Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma. I was diagnosed at the end of April 2015, and given months to live.
With treatment I have survived my disease almost 11 months, but with great personal loss. My fiancé could not handle the diagnosis and left me for a woman 28 years his junior after only 6 months post diagnosis, after draining my bank accounts and leaving me penniless and a continent away from my family. Thanks to support from Family and Friends, and donations from generous folks like you, and begging on the street in Boca Raton, Fl, I was able to finally get home to Canada.
I am currently living on Coastal BC, unable to work, with no treatment for almost 3 months, and unable to access Provincial Medical Services for the time being. I am also unable to access government financial aid as well. To add insult to injury, I had my wallet recently stolen from our local dollar store while helping my fussy Grandson. It will be weeks before I get any I.D. back and what was left of my Canadian I.D. could take months.
I am accepting donations to help with affordable treatment option expenses, pharmaceuticals and end of life care. Please donate if you wish, it is for a good cause and it is very much appreciated, For my Canadian friends, if you choose to donate, this can be done by sending an e-transfer to my email address [email protected] Bless You!

Hi, Sherryl. We met at your daughter's wedding (You probably don't remember me, but I took the wedding photos). I was so sorry to hear you are ill, Sherryl. I had a friend with pancreatic cancer who lived over 12 years beyond the six months the doctors initially gave her. So stay strong, stay hopeful. We'll do our best to get you home. It sounds like you are really due some good luck for once.

Pam, I have my American I.D. None of that is a problem. I am not eligible for Social Security as that is all based on the amount of money you have earned in your lifetime and I have not worked in the U.S. for long enough. I can apply for my Canadian social Insurance when I get home. I still have to fight for my status, but with the help of my children and friends, and long work record, I know we will eventually get that all lined up. Love you Pamela Brown, dear cousin, and to Lori Lewis, thank you so much for your help.
