Natashas Healing Journey

Friends and family,

I am writing this on behalf of my sister Natasha who has been going through every parents worst nightmare the last couple of months. As most of you may know- Natasha had her baby girl Eloise Pauline at roughly 25 weeks gestational age. Natasha had a very rare type of preeclampsia and had no other choice if she wanted her and the baby to have a chance to survive. Eloise was born September 10th, 2022.

Fast forward to yesterday, November 6th, 2022. Exactly 57 days since the day she was born, Eloise spent in the NICU hooked up to many machines, IV’s, ventilators and more. She was transferred from Green Bay to The Childrens Hospital in Milwaukee to give her a better chance but even they couldn’t save her. Everything that should have helped her- didn’t. The doctors weren’t sure why she wasn’t getting better. There was no infection, her surgery to close the PDA in her heart went well. She fought and fought but ultimately her body needed rest. Natasha had to make the hardest decision yesterday. She had to say goodbye to her little girl. Eloise was surrounded by family and given lots of love.

This week Natasha will be planning Eloise’s funeral. Although the funeral itself won’t cost much- this entire process has made Natasha’s life more difficult than it has to be. Everyone has been so kind already through generous donations for gas cards, meals, help with her other kids and dog, etc. and we couldn’t be more appreciative. However, due to the gruesome expenses of traveling to Milwaukee and everything else she had to do during that time, Natasha can’t seem to catch back up on her expenses. We want to be able to give her this money so that it is one last thing she has to worry about. Please consider donating any amount you can, and if you can’t donate please spread the word and share this so we can help her mourn her baby girl with her other children without any other worries! (Also- Natasha did not ask us to do this for her in any way. She’s too stubborn to ask for help so we decided to do it for her as her family!)
