US$5.00raised of $50,000.00 goal goal
The mission work of the Baptist Missionary Society along the Congo River and its tributaries started at the turn of the 20th century. This work had not been completed and after my own faith based research about and in the Democratic Republic of the Congo between 2004 and 2014, a church planting project with community centres of excellence and village farming projects is planned from April 2021 to 2024, God willing and providing through this campaign. This follow-up phase aims to plant and train 40 church pastors in a radius of 400 km around Kisangani and along the Congo River to Kinshasa. Many villages remain unreached or undiscipled in a region where 14 000 km of riverbanks and areas further inland host the isolated homes for as many as 1,8 million rural people of up to 460 ethno-linguistic groups. A second phase for a medical outreach river boat operating from Yakusu to visit congregations is already well planned. Please consider to partner and make this incomplete Great Commission work possible so that all to the ends of the earth may hear the Good News of Salvation and the Kingdom of God!
