We are an NPO providing after care and nutrition to approx 100 orphans and vulnerable children 5 days a week in our activity centre and soup kitchen in the local township of Ekuphumleni. We provide help with school work and teach arts and crafts and environmental awareness. Also provide parenting programmes and counselling programmes and support for domestic abuse cases, referring them to professionals when needed.

Due to covid 19 we are stuggling to do our normal fundraising events and have run out of funds to the extent we had to let one staff member go. We do get a small subsidy from our government which has been cut dramatically and depend on fundraising events and donations to help with our projects and feeding scheme.

Our application for Lottery funds has been declined this year also for no apparent reason except that they are not donating anything to charities at this point in time.
