Caring Hearts Project – together for the final works on the School

The CARING HEARTS school PROJECT - phase 1

The Campaign is based on the Caring Hearts Project, initiative of Esan Nokpebholo Forum from Nigeria and supported by the HUBS - Humanitarian association Caring Hearts from Croatia, an international partnership of civil society actors to tackle the emergency situation in one part of South South Nigeria: to provide free basic education to every child of school age and arm the youths with relevant vocational skills necessary for productive endevours in the 21st century.

The construction of the school centre has started in Oct 2021 and is ongoing in Eyaen/Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, funded by the same Initiator and Facilitator of the CHP project, the organizations ENF and HUBS, supported by international donations. The completion of the project will have a decisive and strong effect on the local community and wider, being recognizable and applicable on global scale.

OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH

The vision is to complete the project bringing it to the original vision of a sustainable community: Orphanage, School, Vocational training center and Welfare Home.

Our AIMS

- Provide unrestrained opportunity for children of the poor to have access to high-quality education

- Use the instrumentality od sound education to fight poverty, unemployment, illegal migration and crimes

- Instill values of hard work, obedience, patience and perseverance in students through moral re-orientation and value re-appraisal

- Restore the dignity of the younger generation and prepare them to be future global citizens and champions in various fields of human endeavours.

Our IMPACT

Entrepreneurial skill development, provided by the Vocational Training Centre will form independent and employment generations, diverse job opportunities, self-employment as well as accelerate the process of overcoming poverty, reduction in crime, stalling the illegal migrations, tackling the menace from the roots and bringing to the world the positive values of Nigerian cultures and society in general, having a positive impact on a global scale.

The TARGET of the Campaign

The funds will be used to finish the phase 1 of the School which entails ending the construction works of two 2-storey academic building:

- laying tiles on floors,

- electrical installation,

- equipping offices and classrooms (furniture and devices), toilets,

- procurement of AC units,

- schoolyard paving

- playgroung layout

- fencing

- gatehouse arrangement.

Challenges

The Challenge is the projection to see the school kick start its maiden academic session in September 2022 with all our hard work of the building on site
