Borderline Personality Disorder

My name is Shernila. I am 23 years old an have a Degree in Nonprofit Studies from Northern Illinois University. February 18, 2019, I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. I had never heard of it and did not understand how crippling a mental illness could be. With different trials of medications and seeing different doctors and therapists my life has definitely taken a turn I wasn’t ready for. I haven’t worked since April of this year. I would love to be able to pay off my bills, get back on my feet, and get back in school. I want to get a Masters in Psychology. Living with a mental illness has exposed me to a lot of pain I wasn’t aware people felt. I have to help. Sadly, my health is also taking a turn for the worst, but regardless I will make a difference in the Mental Healthcare world. I just need help to get there
