A Helping Hand Through A Song

Me and Sister are planning or have this idea of releasing a song where profits will go to the Nourish The Children Organisation in Malawi. (If anybody wondered we are based in South Africa)

So you might wonder how it all came about? We saw this cause through a business venture we were suppose to do, but what attracted us the most was the charity the company are involved with, which is called Nourish The Children that's based in Malawi where they make VitaMeal food bags for the kids of Malawi. One Bag can feed atleast one child for 30days, they have a need there, it can go on non stop as the need for food is always on high demand in Malawi. We thought as musicians or songwriters we will do our part by writing a song, releasing it and full profits of the song will go towards buying the food bags (NB: one bag cost about $12. What got us further interested was that the families who benefit from the food bags (or their children), the parents also get involved by making up those bags.

The $500 will be used for the promotion, marketing, releasing of the song on radio and it will be available on all digital platforms, we are now currently in the last mixing phase of the song, which only needs to be mastered, and cover of the single is also being done as you are reading this now. We are also going to do a epk video of the song, that we want to put up on youtube as a official video of the song.

We are currently looking at releasing the song before october or november, but we have a cut off date that we are looking at around getting the supported funds by lastest 3rd September 2020.

This will mean alot to us if anybody who can share a helping hand in helping us with this cause, we know everyone is going through a tough time around the world, but this shouldn't stop anyone from helping these children. We have been seeking support now almost a year as doors been closing down left, right and center, but we hope through this platform people will see that they can help us make a difference, and how grateful it will be for anyone to help us achieve it.
