This is for a beautiful family of 6. Noreen and her husband, Vincent and their three boys: Praise, Peace, Prince and a little girl, Anesu whom they inherited when her mother died a few months ago. They've been living in South Africa since 2007 and their children (except for Anesu) were born here. Yet, they still can't become permanent citizens so they have to continually renew their passports and visas every few years. The work situation is so dismall in Zim still, that they would go through all of that continually as a choice. In December, both Noreen and Vincent has to renew their passports, get new Visas and they need to get the birth certificate for Anesu so they could legally adopt her, for her protection. The whole exercise to travel to Zim, return home and get this sorted, will cost them about 1000 dollars alone, and then they have nothing left for the shoolfees, new shoes, etc. in the new year. Furthermore, they bought a car recently, which was taken after the police said it was stolen. It was stolen, but they were unaware of the fact. They are still waiting to be refunded this money from the dealer. Foreigners are not treated well at all. They really rely on their faith, each other and miracles to survive. They are really good people. Noreen has been working for me for about 2 years. I just want to give them more. The 6 of them live in a tiny little shack, 3 x 5 meters! I don't know how they do it, they all sleep together, all the kids in a bed, and Noreen and Vincent on a tiny little couch. Last week they were nearly washed away in a flash flood. It took 3 days for them to dry everything and they slept wet at night, so Noreen got sick from the exhaustion. Yet she is always smiling, always thankful, hardly ever asking for anything. Your assistance in alleviating some of their financial stress would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance !

  • 16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 1John 3:16-18
