Youth On Missions 2014

Dear Friends in Christ,
     How are you doing? I hope that God is doing as many wonderful things in your life as He is in mine. I am having a wonderful year being home schooled. I am doing many things for my community for example; helping with our church food bank, I help organize school activities for the local homeschool groups, and I will be volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. I believe that it is God's will I do more this year for the world around me.

     I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity that God has presented to me. From June 10 through June 20 God has offered me the chance to go to Hawaii, on "Youth On Missions", with Bro. Mark Hattabaugh (a third generation missionary who has been leading "Youth on Mission" trips for over 26 years and he has traveled in over 70 countries of the world. He is also the Pastor of the "Pentecostals of Cooper City" in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida). This 10-day missions trip will be reaching out and spreading the gospel to the Hawaiian people while learning more about the people there and their culture, we will be doing Youth Rallies, Youth Crusades, and we will be joining with their local Youth Camp, while encouraging churches in the area.

     While, God has opened up a door for me to develop an even greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this compassion in several ways. First, you can help pray for me and my fellow students. We will need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people of Hawaii. We will also need prayers that our financial needs will be met. At this time we need to raise $3,000 each to attend this trip, and that is quite a challenge.

     Would you consider supporting me with a donation? I will need to raise all my funds by May 30, 2014, in order to pay for airline tickets and other items. Whether you feel led to contribute financially, through prayer or both, all of your support is greatly appreciated.

     I look forward to doing God's work in Hawaii and letting you know all about how God has worked through this team when I return at the end of June with many stories and life changing experiences. Thank you and may God richly bless you.
