Youth Empowerment Project

First of all to who ever may be reading this a BIG HELLO & WELCOME. I would honestly love to give you a big long story using emotive language to persuade you that my cause is worthwhile but I can imagine that on here there are many causes that would better get the heart going and the tears flowing then my own. Unfortunately my only desire is to inspire, I am not here to convince anyone because those who believe simply believe. With that said I would like to take you through the (What, How & Why) which should explain my intentions.

What is the fundraising for?

This fundraising here is for my music group which I voluntarily run to help and support the work of the youth group I attend. I recently asked the youths that attend what their overall goals are for attending and what objectives they want to achieve in the next 3 months. 2 key points that came back was that they want to 1) increase their confidence 2) have done a professional record or music video. So I'm raising money to either pay for professional vocal training for these youths as I believe the more they learn how to use their natural instrument (voice) the more they will grow in confidence or I will pay for a professional record with an accompanying music video to be done.

How it will help?

The point of the youth group in the first place is to be a positive distraction in young peoples which helps build them. The only problem is that my youth group convenes only twice a week so for 5 days a week many of the youths are out there in the big world getting up to all sorts so with this music group its a further distraction in their lives which is helping them develop their talents and also teaching them how tomorrow if they so choose to they could monetize their talents and turn it into a career. So raising this money and achieving these goals are the first steps in a long journey in helping these young people become people who contribute to society not just take from it.

Why should you help?

This is an interesting question because my simple reply is that "YES YOU CAN". By that I mean you should help because you can, you have the ability and opportunity to help so why not use it?. I would never ask anyone who couldn't help or who through helping would be disadvantaged in anyway to help because this defeats the purpose of helping.

We are going to record a song this week and I will upload the demo of it so you can see whether its worth the investment. By the way guys the reason my name is Flawless its the name of my team in the youth group, we basically have different teams that compete against each other i.e Bolt, Flawless, Dynamic, Sky, Epic etc Flawless clearly being the most awesome one WOOHOO.
