Hi, I live in a home with 2 cats, both male, the youngest is about 5 years old and the older one is 13 years old, my older brother has taken responsibility of them since around 2012 when my mom moved away and I was asking him when the was the last time he took them to the vet.. I discovered that he has hadn't even thought if that so he had not taken made sure they get vaccinations annually, check on dental hygiene or thought that they might need worm removing , they are both outdoor cats ! I was angry with my brother obviously but he says they look healthy and sarcastically told me that if i want them to go to a vet i can pay it myself, he knows i can't afford it.. The older cat already has tooth stones and I suspect that the younger might also have them :( We give the older one wet food for easier chewing and the younger one only gets wet food a few times but not too often since he is younger and can chew, plus he is on a diet, the older one just didn't eat until it was wet food , I care about both of them so much and worst part is that I think the younger is not spayed ! My brother disagrees but doesn't remember taking him to the vet to get spayed, Im 16 and this will be expensive,my brother doesn't realise it's expensive to have cats! I want them to get all the best treatments they need so they do not catch Feline Panleukopenie, Chlamydiosis or FVR or any other health problems

I do not like asking for money , but I can't think of anything that can help me raise this money fast enough to get them to a vet as soon as possible.

I talked about this to a vet and, he replied this:

Hello,

It is quite right for you that this is all very important and of course it is a certain cost to have cats. If they have never received any vaccinations or worm remedies, they must be included in the previous vaccination and then the second vaccination month later. What you can do is bring them to your first vaccination and worm cleanup, and then we will also check the cat and evaluate the condition of the teeth. We can also check if they are valid. If it needs to be cleaned and cleaned then you can bring them after a month of dental treatment and cessation and the second vaccine then in the way, but this is the cheapest way. Only when you get into your previous vaccination will you cost about 15,000 isk ( im from iceland) for both of them. The second time if we assume you have to do everything, such as the second vaccination, worm cleanup, dental treatment and validation for another, it would be between 35-40,000 isk for everything. Of course, we can never say precise prices because it depends on how much of the drugs we need to use.

Please help , i know my brother may not know about health care in cats but he loves them really much , he is just dumb and poor that's all..
