In today's society, we eat an increasingly large proportion of foods which are processed. About 90% of the money Americans spend on food is used to buy “edible foodlike substances” as Michael Pollan, well-known author of "The Omnivore’s Dilemma" and professor, calls them.

Through the use of aquaponics, we can produce clean, unprocessed, organic vegetables, and fish for your family to eat. We can achieve higher food yields per acre than those from traditional farming methods. The result of which is foods which are better for you and your family and fresher. Since aquaponics can be done with less land, more facilities means that you get fresher foods to your local grocery store, and at a significantly lower price for the consumer.

We are going to produce an aquaponics facility to study methods of increasing the yields of aquaponics, while keeping aquaponics a sustainable, viable, low cost food production system which will benefit the world. All results of our studies will be available to everyone and can be used to duplicate our methods to improve their local food quality and availability.

Your generous donation of only $1.00 or more, will help make local communities, and the world a better place to live for all through aquaponics. For less then the cost of a cup of coffee, you can make a very real impact on the lives of all.
