These pictures are of my sister in law from about a year ago. She had been in a physical and mental abusive relationship with a "famous" rapper signed by Atlantic Records. This night he could've taken my sister in laws life, and consequently only spent 3 days in jail. The case ended up being a DA reject. As many victim of domestic violence would do, my sister in law continued her relationship with him because she felt like she had no options with his threats. One day she got fed up with the abuse and went to his house to get her belongings and end the relationship. Her brother Xavier joined along to defend his sister, should any altercations arise, and unfortunately they did. Both brother and sister Xavier and Nancy Contreras are now in LA county jail facing a life sentence over a broken pinky and the "victim's" lies in court. Despite tremendous efforts for justice, they are both being detained without even a sentence yet. They have been fighting this case for a year and may be getting ready for trial. Nancy and Xavier's mother could only afford a lawyer for Nancy (which she is struggling to pay off) but not for Xavier due to the fact that she is a single mother and is taking care of Nancy's son (4 years old) and Xavier's son (6 months old), as well as Xavier's significant other. We are making this go fund me page to help raise money of this family to help pay off legal bills and possibly hire a lawyer for Xavier. This is their life they are fighting for! They need to come home to their children-mind you Xavier has not yet met his son in person. We need justice! Please help our family. Thank you and God bless.
