Worldstrides Washington D.C Experience

My name is Grace Ortiz and I am the mother of three wonderful boys, Hector (12), Art (9) & Higan (6) and I have put this together because I think that every American should visit our Nation's Capital at least once in their lifetime and WorldStrides believes that every child should have access to the wonder of educational travel. The trip includes Round-trip airfare, sightseeing transportation, hotel accommodations. night chaperones in hotel, all meals, all admission fees, evening activities, accident/health insurance and field journals. He will get to visit Jamestowne Island Glassblowing Factory, Jamestown Settlement, Colonial Williamsburg, Alexandria (one of America's oldest and most historic cities), Mount Vernon, Washington Monument, Smithsonian Institution, Jefferson Memorial, WWII Memorial, Kennedy Center, Arlington National Cemetery, Iwo Jim Memorial, Capital Hill Grounds, National Archives, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean Memorial, Ford's Theatre, Petersen House, Lincoln Memorial and THE WHITE HOUSE!!

Hector is an amazing kid that has nothing but rare goodness in his heart and tries his best at everything he does and as a parent..that's all I can ask for. He holds the tiitle of "Big Brother" and although it's a tough title to have he wears it proudly. Hector is in the 7th grade and is going on his thrid year with the Inland Young Marines where he holds the rank of Private First Class, he is undecided as to what he would like to be when he grows up but whatever it may turn out to be I will try by best to set  solid foundation for love, faith, passion and success.
