Campaign Story
Prior to beginning teaching in the public sector I want to broaden my horizons and expertise through volunteering with special need individuals in Spain. I have been accepted through a program offered by International Volunteering HQ. I have recently accepted a teaching position as an intellectual disabilities teacher at a local elementary school, but prior to have been limited to part time work in a daycare as I am currently a full-time graduate student. Going to Spain, working with and experiencing a special education program outside of the states will be a learning experience to prepare me in working with students with disabilities from different backgrounds and cultures in my near future. The breakdown of costs includes airfare (around 800), program fees (600), and registration. Anything helps and I would be forever thankful if I am able to continue with this experience that has been offered to me.
