Windows/Doors R Older Than Me!

     My name is Cory and I live in Jackson Township, Ohio. I am a part-time firefighter/paramedic. I have been driving school buses as a substitute for the past 8 years, and have been in the Ohio Army National Guard for the past 5 years. At one time I had five part-time jobs. You would think you would make bank with that many jobs (not so much). I am a member of the Rotary Club where I live. I try to better myself everyday and meet my goals. Any help would be immensely appreciated and I thank everyone for taking some of your time to read my post.

     I have been saving for quite some time now to be able to get new doors and windows in my duplex. I already have purchased 2 of 4 new doors. The doors are fiberglass and were on sale at Home Depot, I couldn’t pass them up. They were reduced to the same price as the cheapest steel door. As of now I have about a quarter of the amount that was estimated for my project. New windows and doors will help immensely this coming winter. As well as this summer, my duplex doesn’t have central air, and the air conditioners struggle just to keep the temperature between 75 and 80 degrees.

     My Aunt and Cousin remodel smaller houses (about one a year) as a way to make extra money. They have an account with a window manufacturer and are able to get windows at dealer prices. The company will come out and measure my windows for free and ship them. My cousin Brian and I will put them in together (he is very good and has done this many times). I set up an ending time for my fundraiser because the second week of July I will be leaving for Officer Candidate School for the National Guard (8 weeks).

The funds that are raised will be used to purchase the windows and get them wrapped, and to purchase the other 2 doors. Any remaining money I will donate to the Wounded Warrior Project.
