My husband is a 48 y.o.non-smoker who on fri Feb 21 2014 discovered that he has stage 3 possible stage 4 non operable lung cancer. He has had no symptoms and went in for a check up for some pain in the right side of his chest. The dr sent him for x-rays and we recieved a call that he had pneumonia. He recieved antibiotics and after the second x-ray showed no improvement he was sent for a ct scan which showed a mass in is chest. A biopsy followed and we discovered he had adencarcenoma. on friday we went to the oncologist and found out the stage and recomended treatment. My husband is a wonderful man who has raised his two daughters from previous relationships as well as my daughter from a previous relationship and a foster daughter that came to live with us 4 years ago after we took her in because her mother abanded her due to her drug use. He works hard to support our family and take care of his brother who has special needs that came to us after their mother passed away. We are in shock and are coming to realize that even with the insurance from his job it is going to be financially devistating to pay for his chemo and radiation treatment. Just the chemo will be $2000.00 a month. I am pleading for anyone who can, please help me save my husbands life.
