Campaign Story
hello world.
My name is Emma. I am a twenty four year old mum of one. Her name is Lila and she is truly a gift. Before I fell pregnant, for several years I was told my chances of having a baby were slim to none based on a severe case of endometriosis. When I met my partner, I told him this and he said "never say never". She is now four months and thriving.
I am thrilled to have my ray of sunshine, but I also want to give her the best life possible. I didn't really have a childhood, my parents were despondent and I started working from 13 to pay my way. Working so much however meant I sacrificed my qualifications. I have always wanted to study to become a teacher, my love for children but also a passion for art and wanting to share that through teaching has always been there, like an itch that you can't quite reach and never goes away!
I want to do this for me, but also for Lila. I want her to be proud of me and to have someone to look up to. I want her to look at me and think, wow my mum has followed her dreams.
My one catch however in getting my qualifications, Money. Before Lila came along I was working with the little qualifications I had to keep a roof over my head, now with Lila, my money seems even further stretched.
Any help is greatly appreciated, maybe now I can follow my dream after all...
