Whisky is one of Welfare for Animals in Goa's (WAG) resident dogs. She lives at the shelter and is much loved by the staff and volunteers here. But sadly Whisky no longer has the use of the hind legs meaning getting around is tough going. Whisky LOVES going for walks but for a long time she has been unable to do this as dragging her legs behind her causes painful sores and bruising to develop on her legs and pelvis (see photos). We have a broken ill-fitting carry harness that the volunteers use to enable Whisky to get out of the cages for a short walk most days but it is far from ideal for both Whisky and the people walking her. We desperately want to give Whisky the freedom she deserves so we are raising funds to buy her a set of wheels to help her get around. WAG relies solely on fundrasing and donations in order to continue it's work. If you can help us give Whisky the quality of life this beautiful 'full of beans' dog deserves, please donate to our Whisky's Wheel campaign.
