Campaign Story
My name is Lorrinda Mabry, and I am trying to raise money to purchase a wheelchair accessible van. I have Cerebral Palsy and cannot walk or talk, but I can communicate via a text-to-speech app on my ipad. I would love to be able to go places with my caregiver such as the store, doctor appointments, a road trip, etc. without having to give at least 24 hour notice, and depend on the unreliable MTA Access bus system which has left me stranded in the cold many times, and sometimes takes hours to show up. I would really appreciate any help anyone can give toward this, or if anyone has a van that they don't use. Thank you and God bless.
