Update: We have found a truck! (Pictures enclosed.) Two years ago my wife Dee and I started a barbecue food stand called Western Redneck BBQ featuring our own original pitmaster style barbecue recipies. Everything we make is original, from the six types of barbecue sauces to the way we smoke our meats.
Since we smoke outside, we are a seasonal business. We generally open May through August or September, weather permitting.
This year we were hoping to take our barbecue on the road and head south for the winter months, and return in the spring.
So, stepping out in faith, we sold all our furniture and household items, gave away what was left , and bought a used RV which we have been living in.
We were hoping to sell enough barbecue to buy a food trailer/truck so we could continue to generate income by selling our barbecue down south. Well,...that didn't happen.
We need to come up with the funds for a food trailer/truck...so we can head south before the snow hits and generate income to continue in business. ( Actually, that didn't happen either as we sit here in March watching the snow fall.)
So really, it's now about raising funds to help a small mom and pop company get a food truck to keep their dream of a barbecue business alive. It's about helping small business... It's about helping people...achieve a dream.
That is the purpose for our funding page on this site.
If you would consider making a donation to help us out, we would invite you to check out our customer reviews and videos on our Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/WRBBQ1/
We make barbecue that is unique and original...and most importantly...we take pride in what we do. And that's making BBQ that makes people smile.
We just need a break...a little help...to get Western Redneck BBQ back on the road...so we won't be forced to close. If you would like to help out a small business with great potential, we would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for your generosity.
Sincerely,
Ted & Dee
