Wales Walking Football National Teams

WALKING FOOTBALL WALES NATIONAL TEAMS

Walking Football Wales is a non profit organisation with the aims of promoting and accelerating the growth of the sport of walking football within Wales, at both a club and international level.

We are requesting assistance for our national players and staff who currently self fund their activities; managing, coaching, travelling and playing international matches for the national Welsh team. We currently manage squads for those that are 50+, 60+, 65+ and 70+, open to both men and women. Walking Football is the fastest growing sport for older persons, but with such rapid growth comes the difficulty of funding some of its activities.

Any help that you can provide would be welcome and help to allow us to organise games, provide kit for the players and organise transportation to international matches and tournaments.

2019 sees the inaugural Walking Football Association (WFA) Euro championship and the IWFF World Cup, both being held in England, with further international matches and tournaments being scheduled over the next few years.

Please help the team. Your donation will assist and help to allow the Welsh squad to participate at an international level, to do so competitively and to proudly represent Wales to the best of their ability.
