£1,090.00raised of £1,000.00 goal goal
I have the opportunity of volunteering in Ambalangoda, Sri Lanka. Here, I shall be involving myself and working in an orphanage. With my trip taking place in on February next year, I aim to raise £1000 enabling me to make a difference to the lives of the children I will be with.
I would be so proud to actually be able to bring happiness to the children at the orphanages day through either play a game, teaching them some English or even just having a chat with them. I will be working at three orphanages, helping people aged 5-14 years old.
Even though I am not very fit at the moment, I will be doing 64 lengths (a mile) in a full sized swimming pool. I am so excited about having this opportunity, as it is so important to me. I appreciate any donation that you're able to give!
