We will be volunteering in Madagascar for four weeks to work with the Madagascar Research and Conservation Institute to assist in their forest conservation program on the island of Nosy Komba. This small, volcanic island where we will be staying and working does not have any roads or electricity and is found off the northwest coast of the main island of Madagascar. This program helps to preserve the forest and wildlife through animal studies, research, forest cleanup and educating the locals. The work that we will be doing will not only help save the tropical forest but will also help the population of lemurs, reptiles and birds. Protecting the environment and wildlife is a passion for both of us and this volunteer opportunity is a perfect way to help with this cause in a country where it is greatly needed! Donations can be made through PayPal or in person. Sending money by PayPal (to [email protected] and not using this site) and using the "send to friends/family" option is an easy method with no fees so we get 100% of each donation. If you would like to donate to us outside of this website with cash or check just let us know as this option is the best since there are no fees involved. Whether you choose to donate to our page or not, we kindly ask that you share this page on social media so that we can reach our goal and make this dream a reality. Thank you in advance!
