Volunteering in Madagascar

I will be volunteering with International Volunteer HQ in September for 2 weeks, the destination I chose was Madagascar doing an Island Outreach. The Island Outreach’s itinerary consists of traveling by a 50ft boat to remote islands and villages doing multiple different tasks such as; beach and reef clean up, education support, small construction projects, donation distribution and battery collections. I will also have the opportunity to assist in scientific research during forest hikes, snorkel surveys, and beach patrols that help aid the conservation of local wildlife.
