To whom it may concern,

Rosie Redfern has been accepted on to the Volunteer Eco Students Abroad Program and will be travelling to Fiji this year to take part in an important sustainable community development project. Rosie is seeking sponsorship to enable them to participate in the program and complete essential volunteer work in a Fijian village. She is an English student at Liverpool John Moores University and lives locally in Liverpool, UK.

VESA and Rosie Redfern will work in conjunction with the villagers and the village chief in addressing the major issues faced by the village and the local schools such as a lack of fresh running water, dilapidated schools and generally poor infrastructure. Your donation will help to facilitate the means for implementing a major community development project, which will encompass construction in addition to educating the community on matters of conservation, sustainability, health/hygiene and English proficiency.

By sponsoring Rosie Redfern you will be directly assisting with the costs involved in participating in the program. These costs are significant and include hiring local skilled trades people to supervise and assist in the building projects, building materials and donations to local organizations. Every volunteer will complete a minimum of 40 hours of hands on community based volunteer work. If a donation is made, it will be followed by directly by a comprehensive thank-you letter, as well as information and picture sent to you after Rosie has returned from Fiji entailing what you have helped to do. As Rosie has already publicized her upcoming journey in her local newspaper, she has secured a press release upon returning to the UK to detail all of her doings in Fiji, as well as all benefactors and donations which aided her travel. This can be as comprehensive and as detailed as necessary.

Rosie would appreciate donations of any amount, which will enable her to participate in this vital community development program. She is seeking any funds which can be given, and a breakdown of total costs have been included as follows:
£1200 payment to VESA covering accomodation, food and drink, building materials.
£1500 flights to Fiji from the UK
£200 deposit payment to VESA
£100 covering medical insurance, miscellaneous kit

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Rosie to make a difference donating their time and energy into volunteering overseas this summer. If you are able to help, even in the smallest way it would be greatly appreciated. To make a donation please contact Rosie Redfern directly-
