Volunteering in Antigua

Hello, im Izzy and over the course of this year I will be trying to fundraise money for a trip to Antigua with The Sandals Foundation, as part of a volunteer trip at Chichester College. 

How I will be fundraising 

I will be participating in a number of different events in order to fundraise money for my trip. In September I will be taking part in a sponsored skydive and I would much appreciate being sponsored for this. I am also taking part in a Portsmouth to Brighton cycle of which the sponsorship will go towards my trip. There will be many more activities of which I will be taking part in, of which I will update on my page. 

How will your money help?

Your money and support will allow me to participate in a life changing experience in Antigua and allow me to provide opportunities for others who do not have the resources that we do to help improve their lives. 

Why should you get involved?

The Sandals Foundation has contributed much to the Carribean over the years, and I want to help them to do more. The main three aims of my volunteering are Education, Community and Environment. These are the three main factors of which we will be focused on throughout our trip. Education - Giving children in the school environment fun and edcational learning experiences, teaching them English and supplying them with new stationary and resources as well as building and adopting new schools. Community - We will be getting to know the local people and finding ways of trying to improve their lives by providing them with free health and dental and eye care. Environment- We will be working with the local people to try and improve the environment in the surrounding areas of where we will be staying.

  Your money and support could fund me to participate in this amazing opportunity, allowing me to help tackle poverty in countries less fortunate than ours.
